These homemade Suji Atta Cookies are not just tasty but also a healthier alternative to store-bought biscuits. One of the best things I like about this recipe is that it doesn’t take much time and doesn’t require any fancy ingredients that are not easily available.

Additionally, I will share some easy and important tips and tricks while preparing suji atta cookies at home. Firstly, in this post, I have shared and used desi ghee for making cookies but it can be made using softened butter. For an easy and quick option, you can use butter for the best texture of cookies. Secondly, if the dough feels too dry, add a teaspoon of milk at a time. Thirdly, these cookies can be eaten as it is, but they can also be enjoyed with chai, coffee, or warm milk for a comforting treat. Lastly, these cookies can be easily stored in an airtight container for up to a week. You may have them chai, it doesn’t matter if it’s 12 in the noon or 11 at night.

How To Make Atta Cookies With Step By Step Photo
- Firstly, in a bowl add 1 cup milk and ¾ cup powdered sugar.

2. Whisk properly to make it lumps free.

3. Now take a mixer jar and add 2 cups of suji.

4. Grind it properly and transfer it to a large bowl.

5. Further add ½ cup atta, ¼ cup dessicated coconut, 2 tbsp milk powder, salt a pinch and mix everything well.

6. Also, add ¼ cup desi ghee and combine well.

7. Now pour the prepared milk over it and give it a good mix.

8. After combining rest it for 5 minutes.

9. As the milk gets completely absorbed, knead well to form a dough without adding any extra water. It will take 4-5 minutes.

10. Prepare small-sized balls without any cracks and press gently to form a cookie.

11. Place the baking paper on a baking tray and arrange the cookies over it. Preheat the oven for 10 minutes.

12. Bake at 180 degrees celsius for 15 minutes or until the cookies are well cooked.

13. After 15 minutes, carefully remove the tray from the oven and let the cookies cool down completely.

14. Finally, enjoy the cookies with chai or coffee.
