Lastly, these modaks can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for a day or in the refrigerator for 2–3 days. How To Make Besan Modak With Step By Step Photo
- Firstly, heat ½ cup desi ghee in a pan. Add 1 cup besan and mix well.

2. Keeping the flame at high stir continuously to avoid burning.

3. Since the color is slightly changed, turn the flame to low-medium.

4. Roast it well, as a nice aroma comes out.

5. Oil releases, and the besan is perfectly roasted. Turn the flame to low.

6. Add ½ cup sugar and mix well until it is completely dissolved.

7. Add 1 cup of milk and mix thoroughly. Mash them properly to make it lump-free.

8. Add ½ tsp cardamom powder and give it a good mix.

9. Turn off the flame. Transfer it to a plate and let it cool completely.

10. Take the modak mould and add pistachios on both sides.

11. Take a small portion of the mixture and press it gently to shape it. Similarly, prepare the other ones.

12. Finally, enjoy delicious besan modaks.
