Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup desi ghee
  • 1 cup besan
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • ½ tsp cardamom powder
  • 10 pistachios

Instructions
 

  • Firstly, heat ½ cup desi ghee in a pan. Add 1 cup besan and mix well.
  • Keeping the flame at high stir continuously to avoid burning.
  • Since the color is slightly changed, turn the flame to low-medium.
  • Roast it well, as a nice aroma comes out.
  • Oil releases, and the besan is perfectly roasted. Turn the flame to low.
  • Add ½ cup sugar and mix well until it is completely dissolved.
  • Add 1 cup of milk and mix thoroughly. Mash them properly to make it lump-free.
  • Add ½ tsp cardamom powder and give it a good mix.
  • Turn off the flame. Transfer it to a plate and let it cool completely.
  • Take the modak mould and add pistachios on both sides.
  • Take a small portion of the mixture and press it gently to shape it. Similarly, prepare the other ones.
  • Finally, enjoy delicious besan modaks.
