How To Make Burnt Garlic Fried Rice With Step By Step Photo
- Firstly, in a large pan, add 1 cup washed rice and 1½ cup water. Cover and let it boil at high flame.
2. As it starts boiling, turn the flame to low. Cover and cook for 10-12 minutes.
3. After 10-12 minutes, the water is completely absorbed, and the rice is perfectly cooked.
4. Cover and keep them in the steam for 5 minutes.
5. Set a kadhai, heat 1 tbsp oil, and add 3 tsp chopped garlic. Cook for 2 minutes at medium flame.
6. Keep stirring as the color slightly changes. Turn the flame to low and stir until it turns golden brown.
7. As the garlic is roasted completely, transfer it to a bowl, and keep it aside.
8. In the same kadhai, add 1 tbsp oil, 15-20 curry leaves, boiled rice, and stir well at low flame.
9. Add 1 tsp soya sauce, ⅓ tsp salt, ¼ tsp black pepper, and mix everything well.
10. Add half of the roasted garlic and give it a good mix. After it is perfectly cooked, turn off the flame.
11. Transfer the rice to a bowl and press gently to remove the extra space.
12. Cover it with the sering plate and flip it. Remove the bowl and garnish it with the remaining roasted garlic.
13. Finally, enjoy delicious burnt garlic fried rice.
