Firstly, I have used brown sandwich bread, but you can choose multigrain, regular, or even pav buns for a twist. Secondly, don’t forget to garnish with fresh curry or mint leaves for a vibrant touch. Thirdly, this sandwich tastes great with spicy green chutney, tangy tomato ketchup, or any dip you like. Lastly, you can store the prepared filling separately in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a day. Assemble and toast the sandwich fresh for the best taste every time. Also, it is best enjoyed fresh but can be stored in an airtight box in the fridge for up to 6 hours. Re-toast lightly before serving if needed.

How To Make Dahi Tadka Sandwich With Step By Step Photo

  1. Firstly, take a bowl and place a sieve over it. Put a muslin cloth and add 1 cup curd to it.

2. Put some weight till all the extra water is drained out.

3. After a few hours, the hung curd is ready. Transfer it to a bowl.

4. Also, add ½ chopped onion, 1 tsp chopped green chilli, 1 tbsp chopped coriander, ½ tsp salt, ½ tsp oregano, and give it a good mix.

5. Further, take 4 brown bread slices.

6. Now, take a slice, spread the prepared mixture over it, and cover it with another bread slice. Similarly, prepare the other slices.

7. For tadka, heat a tawa & add 1 tbsp oil, 1 tsp mustard seeds, and 8 curry leaves.

8. Keeping the flame at the medium, place the bread sandwich over it. Roast it until golden brown and crispy.

9. Apply oil on top and flip it. Roast it from the other side too.

10. After being perfectly cooked on both sides, remove it from the tawa. Similarly, roast the other sandwich.

11. Cut it from the centre and divide the sandwich into two equal parts.
