Moreover, I would like to share some easy and useful tips and tricks while preparing matar dhokla at home. Firstly, in this post, I have steamed the dhokla in small steel bowls, but you can also pour the batter into a large tray and cut it into any shape pieces after steaming. For a quicker option, you can even steam it in a single container and slice it as per your preference. Secondly, don’t forget to garnish the dhokla with fresh coriander leaves to enhance its appearance. Thirdly, this recipe tastes great on its own, but to complete the meal, you can serve it with onion tomato chutney. Lastly, matar dhokla can be stored easily in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 day. Before serving, you can microwave it for 30–60 seconds or lightly steam it again to refresh its softness.

  • Finally, it tastes best when steamed in small bowls or cut into bite-sized pieces for easy serving.
