This easy and quick snack recipe can be prepared by roasting papad and shaping it like a taco. These tacos are served and enjoyed with no side dish but taste exceptionally great with nylon sev, mayonnaise, and curry leaves on top for a mouth-watering moment.

I think many people get bored with the usual papad fry or masala papad, so this recipe is a refreshing and fun way to give your regular papad a fusion makeover. One of the best things about this recipe is that it can be made in no time and also does not require any fancy ingredients that are not easily available. Just roast the papad, fill it, and garnish beautifully.

Firstly, in this post, I have shared and shaped papad into a taco shape, but you can fold or shape it however you like. For an easy and quick option, you can fold it in half or make small papad cups. Secondly, don’t forget to garnish with nylon sev, mayonnaise, and fresh curry leaves to make it look extra tempting. Thirdly, this recipe tastes best when served immediately to retain the crispiness of the papad. Lastly, you can prepare the filling in advance and refrigerate it, but assemble the tacos just before serving for the perfect crunch. You may have to microwave the prepared filling for 30-60 seconds or re-steam it to refresh before serving.

How To Make Papad Tacos With Step By Step Photo
- Firstly, take 3 papads.

2. Now, keeping the flame at medium, heat a papad on the tawa. Roast both sides properly until crispy.

3. Immediately fold it into the shape of tacos for a few seconds, and similarly prepare the other ones.

4. Pour 1 cup of water into a pan and add 2 tbsp of sweet corn. Let it boil for 2-3 minutes.

5. After boiling, remove from the hot water and transfer it to a bowl.

6. In a bowl, add 2 tbsp each of chopped cucumber, onion, tomato, boiled sweet corn, moong dal, channa dal, and aloo bhujia.

7. Also, add ½ tsp salt and ¼ tsp red chilli powder, squeeze ½ lemon, and give it a good mix.

8. Arrange roasted papad on a serving plate and add prepared filling in each. Sprinkle some nylon sev over each.

9. Garnish it with white mayonnaise and curry leaves on top.

10. Finally, enjoy delicious and crispy papad tacos.

- 1 cup water
- 2 tbsp sweet corn
- 2 tbsp cucumber chopped
- 2 tbsp onion chopped
- 2 tbsp tomato chopped
- 2 tbsp moong dal
- 2 tbsp channa dal
- 2 tbsp aloo bhujia
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp red chilli powder
- ½ lemon juice squeezed
- nylon sev sprinkle
- white mayonnaise garnishing
- 3 curry leaves garnishing
Instructions
- Firstly, take 3 papads.
