Ingredients
  

For Noodles

  • 1 cup wheat flour
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 cup water

For Sauteing Veggies

  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp garlic chopped
  • 1 onion sliced
  • 2 tbsp capsicum sliced
  • 2 tbsp carrot sliced
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp tomato ketchup
  • 1 tsp soya sauce

Instructions
 

  • Firstly, in a bowl, add 1 cup wheat flour, ½ tsp salt, and mix well.
  • Use 1 cup water in batches to form a soft dough. Cover and rest it for 10 minutes.
  • Take a small portion of the dough and give it a round shape. Make a chapati using a rolling pin.
  • Heat water in a pan and add prepared chapati. Keeping the flame at high boil for 2-3 minutes.
  • After 2-3 minutes, remove it from the water and place it on a flat surface. Apply oil on top.
  • Roll it properly. Cut it as thin as possible and keep it aside.
  • Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan and add 1 tsp chopped garlic. Keeping the flame at medium, add 1 sliced onion.
  • Cook it for 2-3 minutes. Add 2 tbsp each of sliced capsicum and carrot, and cook for 1 minute.
  • Add ½ tsp salt, ½ tsp black pepper, 1 tbsp tomato ketchup, 1 tsp soya sauce, and mix everything well.
  • Further, add prepared noodles. Give a good mix and turn off the flame.
  • Finally, enjoy delicious chow mein.
