Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup basmati rice
  • 3 cup water
  • tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp jeera
  • 1 tsp garlic chopped
  • 1 tsp ginger grated
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 1 tsp green chilli chopped
  • 2 tomato puree
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp turmeric
  • 1 tsp kashmiri red chilli powder
  • coriander garnishing

Instructions
 

  • Firstly, take some water in a bowl and add 1 cup of basmati rice. Wash them properly 2-3 times.
  • Heat 3 cups of water in a pan and add washed rice. Keeping the flame on high, cover, and let it boil for 2-3 minutes.
  • After 2-3 minutes, once it starts boiling, turn the flame to low. Cover again and let it cook for 10 minutes.
  • After 10 minutes, the rice is perfectly boiled. Turn off the flame.
  • Remove the extra water from the rice and keep it aside.
  • Heat 1½ tbsp oil in a pan and add 1 tsp jeera, 1 tsp chopped garlic.
  • Keeping the flame on medium, add 1 tsp chopped ginger, 1 medium-sized chopped onion.
  • Keep stirring continuously and cook for 1 minute. Further, add 1 tsp chopped green chilli.
  • Cook for 2-3 minutes and add 2 medium-sized tomato purees. Keep stirring for 1 minute.
  • Add 1 tsp salt, ½ tsp turmeric, 1 tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder, and mix everything well.
  • After 2-3 minutes, the oil releases and the masala is perfectly cooked.
  • Now, add boiled rice and give it a good mix. Turn off the flame.
  • Finally, enjoy fried rice by garnishing it with coriander.
