Ingredients
  

For Green Peas Filling

  • 1 cup green peas
  • 3 green chilli
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 1 inch ginger
  • 1 tsp jeera
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp water

For Tacos

  • 1 cup water
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp oil
  • 1 cup rice flour

For Tempering

  • 2 tsp oil
  • ½ tsp mustard seeds
  • ½ tsp sesame seeds
  • 2 green chilli
  • ¼ tsp red chilli powder

Instructions
 

  • Firstly, in a mixer jar take 1 cup of green peas, 3 green chilli, and 4 garlic cloves.
  • Add 1 inch ginger, 1 tsp jeera, ½ tsp salt, and 1 tbsp water.
  • Coarsely Grind it.
  • Transfer the matar paste to a bowl.
  • Heat a pan and add 1 cup water, ½ tsp salt & 1 tsp oil. Use this water to knead a soft dough.
  • In a bowl add 1 cup rice flour and hot water & knead well to form a dough.
  • Prepare small-sized balls without any cracks.
  • Now evenly press those balls to make them flat from all sides.
  • Add 1 tsp green peas stuffing.
  • Now fold them in the shape of tacos.
  • Place the taco snacks to steam. Grease the base to prevent them from sticking.
  • Steam for 10 minutes until the tacos are well cooked and keep aside.
  • Further in a pan heat 2 tsp oil.
  • Now, add ½ tsp mustard seeds, ½ tsp sesame seeds, 2 green chillies and mix.
  • Further toss steamed tacos and mix gently coating spices uniformly.
  • Sprinkle ¼ tsp red chilli powder and cook on low flame for 1 minute.
  • Finally, taco snacks are ready to enjoy with chutney.
