Firstly, take 1 orange, cut it into slices without peeling. Remove the centre part, then remove the seeds.
Transfer the slices to the mixer jar, add ½ cup sugar, ½ cup oil, and grind them to form a smooth paste.
Transfer it to a bowl, add 1 cup maida, 2 tsp baking powder, a pinch of salt, and ½ cup condensed milk.
Mix everything well to make the batter lump-free and smooth.
Take a cake tin and grease it. Place a parchment paper on it and grease it.
Transfer the batter to the tin and tap nicely to remove the bubbles.
Top it with some grated orange zest, and it is ready to bake.
Set a steamer and add some salt. Cover and preheat it for 5 minutes at high flame.
Place the cake tin in it. Cover and bake it for 45 minutes on low flame.
After 45 minutes, it is perfectly baked. Turn off the flame and remove it from the steamer.
Let it cool completely, remove it from the sides, then demould it carefully.
Remove the baking paper and flip it.
Finally, enjoy delicious orange cake.
