  • ½ tbsp oil

Instructions

  • Firstly, in a bowl, add 1 cup maida, ½ tsp salt, 1 tbsp oil, 2 tbsp water, and combine everything well.
  • Also, add 1 tsp water and knead well to form a soft dough.
  • Dough is ready. Cover and let it rest for 10 minutes.
  • Take a hand chopper and add ½ roughly chopped each onion, carrot, and cauliflower.
  • Add ½ cup sweet corn, 5 garlic cloves, and chop everything well.
  • Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan and add chopped veggies. Cook for 1-2 minutes at medium flame.
  • Add ½ tsp salt, ½ tsp black pepper, 1 tsp oregano, and mix. Keep stirring and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  • Stuffing is ready. Turn off the flame, transfer it to a bowl, and keep it aside.
  • After 10 minutes, divide the dough into equal parts.
  • Take one part and give it a round shape using your hands.
  • Sprinkle some maida on the surface and make it as thin as possible using a rolling pin.
  • Cut it into a round shape using a mould and remove the extra sides.
  • Fill it with the prepared stuffing and give it the shape of momo as shown.
  • Perfectly shaped momo is ready. Similarly, prepare the other ones for steaming.
  • Pour water into a pan and heat it. Place the steaming plate over it and grease it.
  • Place the momos and brush them with oil. Cover and steam them for 10 minutes at low flame.
  • Heat ½ tbsp oil in the pan and spread it. Place the steamed momos.
  • Flip and roast both sides until golden brown and crisp.
  • Turn off the flame as crispy momos are ready.
  • Finally, enjoy pan fried momos with tomato ketchup.
