Firstly, in a large pan heat 2 tbsp oil and add ¼ tsp asafoetida, 1 chopped green chilli, ½ tsp grated ginger and some fresh coriander.
Pour 1½ cups of water.
Keeping the flame on low start adding 1 cup suji slowly, stirring continuously.
Also, add ½ tsp salt and ½ tsp oregano and mix well.
Cook until there is no water and the suji turns soft and fluffy.
Knead the dough and prepare small balls.
Steam for 15 minutes.
Further in the same pan heat 1 tbsp oil.
Now, add ½ tsp mustard seeds, ½ tsp jeera, ½ tsp grated ginger and mix.
Furthermore, add 3 tsp desiccated coconut, some fresh coriander and 1½ tsp sambhar masala.
Toss steamed suji balls and mix gently.
Also, add 2 tsp lemon juice and give it a good mix.
Finally, enjoy suji balls with spicy chutney.
