Ingredients
  

For Cake Batter

  • cup all purpose flour / maida
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ¾ cup powdered sugar
  • ½ cup oil
  • tsp vanilla essence
  • ½ cup curd
  • ¾ cup milk

For Garnishing

  • 8 almonds sliced
  • 6 cashews chopped
  • 7 pistachios chopped

Instructions
 

  • Firstly, grease the cake tin properly.
  • Place the baking paper over it. Grease it too and keep aside.
  • Now, take a large bowl and place a sieve over it.
  • Add 1½ cups maida, 1 tsp baking powder, ½ tsp baking soda, and sieve them.
  • Add ¾ cup powdered sugar and sieve it too.
  • Also, add ½ cup oil and 1½ tsp vanilla essence and whisk them.
  • Add ½ cup curd and whisk everything well.
  • Further add ¾ cup of milk to the whole batter and keep whisking.
  • Use the milk in batches to set the consistency of the mixture. Also, make the batter lump-free.
  • Transfer the batter into the cake tin and tap 2-3 times to remove the bubbles.
  • Spread some chopped almonds, cashews, and pistachios over it.
  • Place it in a preheated oven and bake it at 150 degrees Celsius for 25-30 minutes.
  • After baking, let it cool completely.
  • Separate it from the sides and demould carefully.
  • Remove the baking paper and flip the cake carefully.
  • Finally, enjoy vanilla cake with chocolate sauce.
