Firstly, grease the cake tin properly.
Place the baking paper over it. Grease it too and keep aside.
Now, take a large bowl and place a sieve over it.
Add 1½ cups maida, 1 tsp baking powder, ½ tsp baking soda, and sieve them.
Add ¾ cup powdered sugar and sieve it too.
Also, add ½ cup oil and 1½ tsp vanilla essence and whisk them.
Add ½ cup curd and whisk everything well.
Further add ¾ cup of milk to the whole batter and keep whisking.
Use the milk in batches to set the consistency of the mixture. Also, make the batter lump-free.
Transfer the batter into the cake tin and tap 2-3 times to remove the bubbles.
Spread some chopped almonds, cashews, and pistachios over it.
Place it in a preheated oven and bake it at 150 degrees Celsius for 25-30 minutes.
After baking, let it cool completely.
Separate it from the sides and demould carefully.
Remove the baking paper and flip the cake carefully.
Finally, enjoy vanilla cake with chocolate sauce.
